Is it possible to keep a friend but block their photo's on FB?

So I have a friend and he posts Corvette crap like 20 times a day. If it isn't about his corvette, Lexus, Infinity, it's about someone else and their corvette. Like him as a friend and he's going to keep posting pics and vids, but kind of tired of all the car crap (never thought I'd say that).

I'm not a book facer but you should be able to unfollow, but still keep as a friend.

Go to his profile, click on the friend button, when it opens the dropdown menu, click on unfollow... I couldn't exist on facebook without that button.

ON a PC, Just find any post of his and over over his name and a popup will come up. Click unfollow.
