What: The 3000GT/Stealth National Gathering is the largest 3S specific event in the world. This is a full auto event not just a car show. We have 3 driving events (Drag Races, Autocross and Road Course), A Car show in a special location(we'll let you know soon). A T-Shirt created for the event. A Special discount rate on hotel . And an awards banquet to top it off. We've also got a huge raffle with prizes from all sponsors and several smaller events like a poker run.

Prices:

Hotel - There are 2 hotels choices, 65$ and 75$ per night.
Full Registration - $120 (includes T-Shirt, Access to all events, Banquet and Car Show entry). Use if attending Tuesday - Sunday.
Weekender - $80 (includes T-Shirt, Drag Race Spectator pass, Banquet and Car Show entry). Use if attending Friday - Sunday.
Guest - $50 (Includes appropriate spectator passes and Banquet)

AutoCross - $40
Road Course - $120

Hotel Information:
Will be provided after you pay.

This will happen two ways.
Automatic: If you pay via paypal and follow the links back toe the NG site.
Manual: Any other payment method or if you paid via paypal and did not get back to the NG site once the payment has been confirmed a verification email will be sent and it will have the information. We will be reviewing paypal payments once each day.

There is usually at least a few NA cars in the autocross, although your class is based on drivetrain rather than aspiration, and typically a few road course participants as well.

Sorry - no details on prices yet. We JUST found out yesterday that we were going to be able to pull this off. Registration couldn't start without it, and pricing couldn't be figured out until it was finalized. Now it's crunch time. We hope to get registration up and open by Feb 1, but that means A LOT of hours between now and then, as well as all the other stuff that normally happens this time of year for us. Don't get me wrong - I can't possibly complain. WE GOT IT. We got INDY. That's what matters. We'll make the rest happen - we just need to be patient. Get ready - registration will open soon and if you register early you save 10%.

I am gonna ask my wife if she wants to attend with me before I register. I have never been to NG before but I would like to attend this year as it's relatively close. Is it mandatory to participate in all the events or can I just come and socialize?

You can just come socialize and watch the events.

The base registration covers all of your spectator/entrance fees, car show entry, Lap at Indy and the banquet. The guest fee would cover your wife.


You can register/pay now add your wife later if she decides to come.

Once you have paid for your registration we will send confirmation email with the hotel information. If you followed the paypal process to the end you can see the hotel information on the bottom of your totals page.

p.s.
i'd suggest asking the hotel for a list of everyone who is on the group rate. then i'd cross-check that list against everyone registered to attend. the names with a discrepancy should be called out publicly on the forums.

i would recommend checking the reviews on trip advisor for the two hotels. it sounds like one hotel has some good and some average ratings, while the other is some good and some bad.

it's unfortunate that you can't really see the two hotels from google street view

Don't worry - I've done this a few times now. The list is cross-checked multiple times before each event to help prevent people from getting one of our reserved rooms or a room at our discounted rate. We can't stop them from staying there if the information leaks out, but I can definitely prevent them from taking advantage of all my work.

Don't know what to tell you there, Alan - I clicked the link and was able to log-in with my regular board ID/password; perhaps I went wrong from there, but I ended up just going to my PP acc't and sending the funds.

Goto 3S National Gathering 2011 Registration (http://www.3sng.org/signup11/) and use your 3sgto.org login.

Once you are logged in you will need to enter several pages of information.
Personal - YOur name and contact information
Vehicle - Information about the car you are bringing
Events - Select your package(full/weekender) and any events you want to participate in(drags, autocross, road course)
Guests - Enter information about anyone that is coming with you.
Merchandise - Select how may T-shirts you want and what size(the 1st one is free)
Totals - This page will show you the total for what you have selected. Click the register button at the bottom of the page.
Rules Pages - Read and accept the event rules.
Payment - Stop here.
