So I'm getting demand for a paper version...

Well I got lucky. Word imported the HTML and did something reasonable with it, so I'll be able to generate the PDF the paper version needs in relatively short order - maybe as early as Sunday.

I saw that on the other forum, I'd prefer the paper version as well. I haven't had a chance to buy the book on Amazon yet after getting confused and saying "fuck it" yesterday, lol

OK, I just pulled the trigger on the approval process. It takes up to 72 hours for Amazon to process it.

Pricing... I tried to keep it in the same ballpark as the Ross Bentley series, as size-wise it is very similar. Unfortunately, because I wanted colour illustrations instead of B&W / greyscale, printing costs were higher than the RB cover price.

So the cheapest I could go was $29.99. At that rate I make less per book than the Kindle version. *shrug*. To make the same as the Kindle, it would have to be ~$36 and I don't think people will pay that.

So I guess we'll see.

I caught a couple of additional typos while editing the print version. Those changes will be rolled out into the Kindle version and it will auto-update once I get them done.

I got my book in the mail last week (but I was headed to Toledo for the Pro, so this is a bit delayed...) and it looks awesome! Some of the shock dyno charts could use a bit more contrast, but everything is legible and the way the formatting came out it looks like it was meant to be!
