Finally, we are excited to say that we have news about NG17.

I am sure everyone was beginning to wonder if there was even going to be one. After the low turn out last year, we really spent a lot of time thinking about pricing, venues and all of the things that we offer. The venue costs represent 80% (or more) of the overhead that the NG has to pay to put on the event. Our goal this year was to get the lowest prices we could get and still put on a quality event.

We believe our work has paid off. We’re pleased to announce that NG17 will be the least expensive NG in years.

Participant - $35.00
Guests 14 and over - $25.00
Guests 6-13 - $15.00
Guests 5 and Under - $0.00
Vehicle(Includes Car Show) - $25.00
AutoCross - $50.00
Drag Race - $45.00
Road Course - $150.00
T-Shirt (extra) - $20.00

For 2017, the NG will be moving back to Southwest Michigan where it all started. This area affords us the ability to put on a high quality event and keep the prices reasonable. Now that we’ve reduced the overhead and have gone to an a la carte pricing structure, we’re hoping more people will be able to afford the event without breaking the bank.

NG17 Will be held August 15th thru 19th, 2017
Schedule:
Tuesday - Road Course @ Gingerman Partnered with Mohawk Track Experience
Wednesday - Registration / Drag Races @ US 131(During test & tune)
Thursday - Car Show
Friday - Autocross @ Tire Rack / Awards Meeting
Saturday - Something Special or Head Home

The timing of this year’s NG allows for something a bit different. It will be a drive for anyone that is not from the area but you many want to consider it.

The Woodward Dream Cruise is Saturday August 19th. If you’re not familiar with it, it’s an event that any auto enthusiast will want to see. Thousands of classic, muscle, sports, and exotic cars from across the country gather for a day of admiration, cruising, and fun. Logistically there is no way to plan going to the cruise as a group. If you have never been, it’s well worth the drive to the east side of the state. Hotels in the metro area are already filling so you’ll want to look into that ASAP. If you can, I recommend going and watching for at least a little while.

Dave could you update your post on 3SI to direct people to 3sng.org rather than "at alternative forum". If we can it better for the event to not have forum v forum bs get in the way.
