Staggered wheel setup and tire recommendations

Need some input on tires. I was originally trying to purchase some 18x10s square setup which fell through, but had already purchased 255/40/18 tires for that setup:concern:. I found a good deal on some RPF01's but in a staggered setup: 18x9.5 +15 and 18x10 +38 offset. I wanted to know what I could run on the rears if I wanted to keep the 255/40/18s up front? Rather than buying a completely new setup. Thanks in advance!

I'm not really sure what the concern is, the offset seems a bit low for my tastes on the 9.5s. Besides fitting the tires in the fender wells there's no rolling diameter change...

Whoops, RPF1s. Was reading some old threads about ruining VCU's on staggered setups. Matching the tire sizes to prevent that and all. Just wanted opinions. You think the wheel size difference is negligible, and Id be ok running 255 all around?

wheel size won't matter much (that's only 0.5" width difference, essentially meaningless for your concern) if the tire size is identical. Just make sure the offset is acceptable to stuff them under the fenders (+15 is REALLY low)

You're probably going to poke with 9.5 +15. My 9 +30 sit just about flush.

You'll poke in the front a bit and be sunk in the back a bit. I think the front will look perfect, but the back will look kinda meh. Just get some spacers.

On tire size, just use what you've got, like Doc said. There is supposed to be like less than 1% difference front/rear, so do the math and select a different size for your next set of tires.

will be getting the wide fender kit from retro spec (eventually) and so want a little poke front and rear. Thanks for the input. What offset should I be looking for in the rears for some poke? I could always go with spacers.

I haven't test fitted mine yet, but I expect 18x10 +20 to be a little less than flush. Probably need another 5mm or so.

This is according to my calculations. I know 18x10+20 on the front pokes just a hair. I like it.
