Cali guys don't even show for their own shows, so Cali is out. It will never be east of Pittsburgh or west of stl. I was really disappointed in the last of East coast following when it was in Pittsburgh, should have been all east coast guys. Will never be south of Memphis or Bowling Green. I don't think the co guys would show even if we went to Topeka. The ng follows the people, and the center of the people who show is not on the coasts.

We are in discussion with a road course group that works similar to 10/10ths. Once we have something locked in we'll let everyone know.


I was really disappointed in the last of East coast following when it was in Pittsburgh, should have been all east coast guys.
About 50% were from the east coast and 25% more were from areas outside of PA but within 4-6 hours.

At this time I still plan on coming to the shootout again. Maybe I will actually get to meet a few of the 3s guys this year. LOL

Since it looks like the NG, if it happens around it's usual time, and the BRG will have dates very close to each other, I need to pick which one I'm going to attend. BRG already has lodging set up and reservations will be sold out soon. I need to know ASAP if there will be a NG so I can start making plans. I don't have the huge amount of time off I had on my old job and I'm only allowed so many days off during hurricane season.

I wish I had something firm to tell you. At this point I do not.

Like we did last year we are trying to partner with another group for Road Course. Doing this removed a huge cost from the NG. Unfortunately, our discussions with the potential partners have been moving very slowly.

While nothing is firm, we have looked at dates in August as well as June.

Been a month since the last reply here. Just wondering if there are any updates. Anything at all? Even if there are potential dates or a potential location you wouldn't mind sharing? Just kind of in a similar boat as Tom here. Might end up making commitments to other things and possibly have to miss out on NG this year. I hope not, though.

I have to turn in my vacation request by December 1st the year before so if the last 2 years is any trend, I may not make it to a ng anymore ☹️️. Had some really great times and met some awesome people over the years!

^^^Beth had to do the same, we took an educated guess and will now have to wait and see. So many great memories and met so many great people in the 6 times I have attended.

I wish we had firm news. With the numbers we have had over the last two years we have had to make some changes to how the event is run. This has caused us scheduling issues. We tried to workout dates to keep to the normal s June time frame and it has not worked out.

Right now we are trying to coordinate dates for August. We hope to have something solid to tell everyone withing the next week.

I am sorry that we do not have better news at this point.

talks have been positive for Road Course and if I can get Drags and Autox lined up we'll have our week locked. If they all work out it will not conflict with the NEG. I hope to know later this week.

We're REALLY sorry the event info came out so late this year. We know it causes problems for some people. Unfortunately, the cost of tracks and the insurance they require is exceedingly high, so we're unable to go that route anymore. That means A LOT more work for planning the event. While it seems it would be easier, it really isn't. We started planning this and talking to potential partners in June of last year. Some want a guarantee of how many people will race. Others wouldn't set up their schedules before January. Then we had to find multiple partners that worked at times when we could arrange a gathering, with as much notice as possible for people. We literally let you know as soon as we did. We're still hoping for a decent turnout, but some plans can't be made until we know. If you're planning to attend, we would encourage you to at least complete your registration and pay for the registration package. Race events can be added later, but having numbers to work with would really help us out. Thanks!
