My reverse lights won't go off??

My reverse lights won't go off?? Where the heck is this controlled by, a sensor somewhere on the trans? It never happened until my Rack stared giving me trouble and puking fluid EVERYWHERE. I'm fixing that now but the lights are puzzling me.
Anyone know what could be causing this?

There's a reverse light switch at the front of the transmission housing (on the radiator side), it's got a 2 pin black plug. Unplug it and see if the lights turn off.

I will try that this weekend. Wouldn't that mean the switch on the trans is bad?

The reverse switch on the trans just unscrews. So if it is bad you just replace it. Simple 5 min job.
