I was on the site just a little bit ago and got redirected to webring.org. I even closed the tab, reopened and went back the usercp and it redirected me again. I had to completely close IE and reopen. It hasn't happened again yet though.

I googled it and webring appears to be legit, but the redirects had me concerned.

webring is a system for linking sites with similar content. (aka a way to get more traffic)

Not sure why you'd get a popup from it. No way you clicked one of the links at the bottom of the page?

It wasn't even a popup. It was a redirect. I clicked nothing but a link to open to newest post on a subscribed thread. It was only doing it on here. I had another tab open and browsed a few other sites for a minute, then as soon as I opened a new tab and tried 3sgto again it opened the site, then redirected to webring.

Dark.
I've also noticed that anything I click on the site flashes webring.org briefly on the activity bar on the bottom of my browser.
