If you saw the mega post of the manifolds, here's where it led up to. The car picked up a ton of torque and a huge amount under the curve. As we were tuning in steps we made it up to the 3000-6000 rpm pull before starting to push coolant just shy of the 700hp mark. (dyno is loaded at 3600lbs to slow accel) This is the pinned heads, Permatorque HG and stock bolts. Currently looking for a set of L19's or A1's as we speak. If you have some and want to sell, give me a holler! Here's a vid from the last couple of runs from Saturday.
Enjoy!

Great results from your hard work. A before/after dyno pic would be neat to see the differences in the curve.

Not a bad idea.
Since we were at identical boost pressure, the peak number wasn't much more, just came in way earlier. The TQ however, had a significant increase. We had planned on increasing boost and taking it considerably further until it started pushing coolant. Remove, improve, replace, it seems is in the cards again. :)

I totally would if I didn't have to remove the block for machining to do so.

That's a different setup. You don't need to do that for fire rings.

Oh?
I'm not thinking of the same thing then. Tell me more please. Links, pics, whatever.
I just flew back from Vegas last night, everything is a bit fuzzy. LOL

The one you think is pyramid rings. A bit different. This is Saf's fire ring gasket.
