Kind of a dumb question; I'm not real smart phone literate.

Couple of things give rise to my question - Missus J and I had to put our Golden down today, and we're kinda busted-up over it.

Anyway, I just got a Galaxy S7...all my old Iphone pics transferred nicely, but both phones were Verizon units.

I have another Iphone 4 (AT&T) that I realize there are even MORE pics on that I want to save, especially dog pics.

My current Itunes iteration has the most recent phone's pics, but not sure about the old AT&T phone - here's my question:

If I plug in the old phone, when it syncs, will I end up with ALL of the pictures, or will I be wiping one or the other?

If I end up with ALL the pics in both places, thats fine, I'm gonna wipe the old phone, but I want the pics.

I know you could sync multiple devices in iTunes and save all the pics (to different locations) but idk on the newer versions. I only have a nano now and no point in having pics on that.

You should be able to plug the phone into the comp, and it shows up in Computer as a drive. Open the folder, and drag all pics across without a need to deal with FailTunes.

It's been a long time since I messed with iTunes, but I remember needing to go into the settings and disable auto sync.

This^^^ itunes has caused heartache more than once. I refuse to use it anymore after losing damn near everything during a simple backup procedure.

Disable auto sync in itunes and just brows to the photo directory once you connect the phone and copy the photos off. iTunes makes everything 10x more painful.

The stand-alone drag-and-drop sounds like a plan, guys.

Thanks!
