I was recently looking for some tools to buy, but shit theres no where to discuss the tools we use so how do I know what the best investment would be? There should be a garage/tool discussion section here.

Either post about it in General or in the Chatter section

I can't because neither of those exist on 3Sgto.org

Bah, you know what I mean. I was just too lazy to go back and see what they were called as I was drawing a blank.

No its not a good idea. Alan does not want a shitton of forums. A tool section is not needed. Tools can be discussed in already existing forums

Yeah, I thought about this again. If you consider the most popular forums on the internet are also the most clutter an unorganized (ex: 4chan.org, facepunch.com etc). I retract my statement.

And there is not enough subject matter to even warrant a tool subforum. Thats just a generic topic at best.

damn stealthee, u got something against tools? lol
i also like info organized and easy to find, a sub-section might not be sooo bad
or better yet, maybe just a single sticky or wiki/howto/whatever with "every tool you will ever need for a 3/s/gto"
some discussions about creative ideas and different techniques or homemade tools would certainly be useful. i have a few things i've figured out along the way that i would gladly share
but definitely not a good idea to cram every section on one page
