Egr purge conttrol valve question

I'm doing some under the hood stuff and busted a vacuum nipple off of purge control valve. Below shows the little bastard I broke.

Can I cap this issue until I can get the part in? I am going on a few hundred mile 3s meet Sunday, so I need to know if I can, or pray one of the local dealers have the part.:lol:

I'd plug it up on both sides where the valve is and also the hose just to make it closed entirely. You should be alright, especially considering all of the people who have done EGR blockoffs here, but since you're a 2g you MAY throw a code...I wouldnt worry about it :)
