97 3000gt VR4 6 speed W6MG1 transmission for sale!

125712581259I have a 6 speed getrag w6mg1 for sale. It came out of my 97 VR4. The only known problem it has is a slow leak between the bellhousing and the case. Case and bellhousing look fine and I was told it more than likely just need to be split apart and resealed with rtv silicone. Make a reasonable offer I need to sell it quickly. I do have a rebuilt 6 speed I bought as a spare for my 97 VR4 that I might sell if your interested. Im not sure what price range you want to be in but if your interested let me know.

it would depend on what ur thinking how much were u wanting? i also have 2 94+s engines that need rebuilt im trying to get rid of maybe a trade

Probably not interested in a trade. Im in college now working on my Dental Degree and I just dont have the time to work on cars anymore. I just like to keep them in good running condition. lol I know there expensive to have rebuilt from 3sx and I dont know too many other place that will rebuild one of the w6mg1's but 3sx's starting rebuild price is like 900.00 plus parts and a fresh rebuilt one is 5225.00 with 1200.00 core. Ebay has used ones from time to time from anywhere around 1300.00 and up. That being said I would like to get around 1500.00 for it but let me know what your thinking.

Okay just let me know. I did want to let you know incase you do buy it down the road. The id plate on the tranny that has the serial number and model number on it is all scratched up and is hardly readable. I the think it got all scratched up when they took it out of the car to rebuild it. Those trannys are a tight fit in these cars but other that than the tranny is in great shape and has been rebuilt.

Im in Fort Wayne,IN. I used R&L Carriers to ship heavy things like that. Its usually around 100.00 for shipping depending on where you live. From here to NC or AZ was around 122.00 to 155.00 to give you a ball park figure. Where you from?
