I stick around because I met my wife on that website. One could almost say that the reason I have not only my wife but my son as well is because of 3si. That's why. Without that website I wouldn't have half the life I have today.

I'm still there because if it wasn't for 3si, I would have sold my 3000GT when the dealership tried to rip me off back in 2007. I lurked there for years without realizing how much information was there. Yes some shit has gone down over there, and I left to come here. But then realized I wasn't ready to pack it in without at least trying to see what was going on. That is when I volunteered to become a moderator to see if anything was going to change or stay the same. Well, I'm still a moderator, so I see there is some hope.

Yet, I still wish Alan the best for this site, as I am a paid member.

lol...the only reason it bothers me is that it isn't right, I did not harass or insult anyone.

If I really wanted to bitch about DPF and LW I would bring up a transaction where someone said they did not receive an item almost 5 months after I sent the item. DPF and LW told me I needed to send them another one or else it would be escalated as I could not find the information or contract I had with the buyer. I sent the item and then later UPS calls me and had located the tracking number. I ended up getting screwed out of the shipping and the cost for the 2nd item and DPF and LW ignored my PM's about it.

Here's my reasoning on this: Private messages are posted publicly all the time to hold people accountable for things they say. It's no more of a bannable offense if he posted up a regular user's PM to him, so if it isn't a RULE on 3Si that says you can't post what a mod, admin or whoever says via PM, then David's just being a dick.

Their were restrictions on what mods could post but I think I just wrote those to restrict information put in a reported post.

I sold some things on 3si, the guy said he never got them almost 5 months later. I talked to DPF about it and then the guy complained to DPF. DPF then told me that I needed to send the guy the part or send him another tracking number. The only thing I had left from the transaction was the bank statement showing I had been charged for shipping. I told DPF about everything yet still I was told to send them something. I went out and got another item, sent it to the guy. After I sent the item to the guy, I got a call back from UPS confirming they found the tracking number and that the guy had received the first item. So not only did the guy get the first item, but he got the second item also despite the original agreement the guy and I had. I lost out on the shipping and the item expense and from that day on, PM's from me and DPF where ignored

3si can be held accountable despite what their user agreement says, I had already talked to a lawyer about it months ago but never pursued it as I had a good job at the time and no time to fight it. Now, I work at home and have all the time in the world.

I care about the PEOPLE that made it happen - not the url. The people that matter most (the MI3Si guys) have my phone number, email address, and IM information. The people that have made an impact on my life have never lost touch with with me due to lack of participation on a website.

I tried to help you through that situation, and dropped it due to a growing conviction that I would have to buy you a tinfoil hat to continue any further... Nobody stole your turbos. You LOST them... It was unfortunate that it took so long to discover the problem, because the buyer instructed you to ship them to me, and didn't realize they hadn't shown up. You were never able to show any evidence whatsoever that you shipped them at all. The only reason the situation didn't get ugly is because I stuck up for you, and the mod you are so busy grilling assured the buyer you would make it right.

You've stated a couple times here that you found the tracking info, but you never gave it to me or the buyer. I told you multiple times if you could find the turbos and get them back, I would buy them from you and help you recover your costs.

i'm not sure if i should offer my condolences or my congratulations. 3si has turned into a toxic blend of mccarthyism and hooverism. i'm certain it won't be long before tt eliteism returns, and the entire 3si-related community is pushed back another 10 years in development. i've probably been perma-banned over there too, even though i haven't visited there since the uncalled-for-30-day-suspension.
