1992 $ $5500
Gauging interest on my 1992 3000GT VR-4. I have had this car for 11 years and it is like a part of me but it may be time to let it go.
Details...
Pearl white with black interior
120,000 miles
No rust of any kind, I have only driven it once or twice in the snow in the 11 years I have had it
Interior is top notch, no rips in leather, everything else in great shape other than the common door panel bubble interior
2-pod gauge cluster on A-pillar with boost and A/F ratio with switch for front or back O2
Active aero works
Active exhaust works
Updates...(within last 10,000 miles)
New Pirelli P-zero tires
New performance brake pads and slotted rotors
Stainless steel break lines
TEIN S-tech lowering springs w/ rear adjustable control arms
Stilling cold air intake
Spec Stage II clutch and pressure plate
New OEM coils and MSD wires
Dash was removed in 2009 and fully cleaned, rewired and updated with dynomat
New Infinity Kappa speakers and dynomat throughout
New heater core
New dash vents (always crack on these cars)
Greddy Boost controller
Greddy Turbo timer
Seattle short throw shifter with new shift boot and OEM knob
'92 radio replaced with the fancy 1-din '93 radio and 6-disc CD in trunk
Pre-cats gutted
3-point strut bar (expensive unit from Japan, forgot the brand)
Upgraded y-pipe
Red top battery
The bad...
ECS isn't working, I think the rear driver's strut is bad
A/C line developed a leak so the refrigerant has leaked out...system worked great, just needs a new line and recharge
Slight hesitiation under low throttle between 2000-3000 RPMS/doesn't like to start if it has been sitting hot for 20 mins (fine after an hour)...I am pretty sure this is the 02 sensors. My data logger shows car is always trying to add fuel to trims (bad 02's read lean)
Small amount of paint damage on rear bumper/rear fender near gas door...no structural damage
I am asking $5500 OBO and I am in metro Detroit. I realize that might be a bit high but I am not exaggerating when I say this is probably the nicest 1g north of 100k miles you will find.
I'll post some pictures tonight.
