Still have questions? I love auto talk! BTW shift kit with full line pressure. That's what you want. It's the drug you crave.

Yeah pretty much wanted to know if I HAD to have shift kit or would just full line pressure do it. Turns out my questions were answered on my paddle shift thread lol.

My wife's AWD atx TT is still going well... Need another end clutch though as some idiot shifted into 4th at full power on WOT oops

You don't have to have a shift kit for full line pressure shifts but the shift kit helps fix flare problems and raises line pressure. You can raise line pressure without a shift kit though but I'd highly recommend the trans lab shift kit. Only $55 off ebay. I've done both, full line pressure, stock valvebody and full line, pressure shift kit. No comparison.

For the end clutch...Get the upgraded clutches from IPT if you plan on holding any power in OD.

Also, if you are doing many brake boosted launches, check your spider gears in center diff. I roasted and mangled the shims with 2.4l 14b tq and 20-30 launches. It still drove fine, but it would've eventually failed. I'll be getting my junk diff welded this summer and currently running a good spare.
