View Full Version : evoscan logging data
Using evoscan 2.9 I Have looked all over and haven't really found any definite answers on which data is actually correct in the logs and which isn't. Do we have to change and function numbers to get the right data for our cars. Doing some logging with a stock 94 tt stealth for some baseline reading before I do all my upgrades curious how the stock ecu adjusts everything. Getting ready to add some dr650's, 550 injectors, maft and neo afc so need to know if the logs are actually correct before I add everything and get really confused.
thanks in advance
anyone?
really only interested if the injector duty cycle, pulse width, knock (3E), fuel trims, timing, air flow are correct? Am I missing anything else important I should be logging?

I have no clue. Never been able to get my hands on a 91-97 rom to see what's truly accurate and what isn't.

does is work well with the 98,99s then?
Any ideas on what to use for logging then or how I can check things to see?

You need my EVOScan file for a 98/99 and even then some of the items aren't loggable without Chrome.
As for loggers, people have been using all kinda of different programs for years. When I had my 95, I used Shivers palm logger. It told me knock, fuel trims and showed if my narrowbands were cycling. That's all I really needed.
How do I go about getting that?

No idea. That was 10-15 years ago.
Guys seem to like HHH these days.

HHH actually has better graphing than evoscan IMO. I liked it a lot. They haven't updated it in about a billion years though, but I guess what works, works.
thanks guys ill start looking into the HHH. Unless I get some more info on the evoscan program. I assume the cable im currently using for evoscan will work with the HHH just need the software?

If you already bought EVOScan and the cable, I would just use that but stick to the 3 things I mentioned earlier.
