Adhesive Amber strip LEDs are used to be mounted inside the ash tray area.

The strips are placed approximately 1/2" below the center console leather

Both strips mounted. The original ash tray lamp housing has to be cut in order to make this space any useful and to accommodate the size of the cup holder.

What would be the price for the illuminated one without any LED's? I would use my own as my interior is switched to all blue LED's and I have tons of SMD LED's left I would use.

Yes they are for same at $16. They are made of high quality ic3d abs plastic. Color may vary red, black, or blue

Unfortunately no. If you read through some of the issues people had with the diamante unit, it had a very poor viewing angle. This is a function of the diamante lcd. I sourced something better that does not have that issue

Do you have aftermarket cam gears? They are meant to fit as tightly as possible. Sometimes they require sure finesse to get into place. Are both cam lockers behaving the same? Occasionally the first layer will print a fraction larger. You can use a fine sand paper (600-1000) to create a little chamfer on the bottom side all around. Let me know if that doesn't work for you.
