Bolt-on TD04 "Phantom" turbos

Bumping this up FS again: Bolt-on TD04 "Phantom" turbos. These previously belonged to "DuTTch" Mark before usage in the Panda VR-4. They have an estimated 15k miles on them since rebuild, but I pushed them to 24psi for the last 8k.

For those that are unaware, these feature an HL turbine and a Garrett T3 "Super 60-Trim" compressor. Matt Monet has been quoted stating a 20CFM greater flow rating over a cast 19T - same class in the end. Basically, these are old school, heavy hitting, stock frame turbos.

My asking price is now $1000 to account for the newer options that are currently available. No WG's are included, and no cores are required. I am in no rush to sell and will be looking for the right buyer. Please let me know if interested - thanks!

How different than GT-368SX turbos are these? I know the compressor cover isn't as big and the HL turbine wheel is marginally bigger than the T04E turbine, but they both share a T3 super 60 type compressor wheel if I'm not mistaken. They definitely should do good.

Hey Michael!

You definitely remembered as much as Mark did lol! From what I gathered long ago in the ancient threads, the GTP version used a regular/standard T3 60-Trim as opposed the "Super" shenanigans. The biggest difference, as noted, is the Garrett T3 comp housing versus stock frame bored out and stuffed.

Ah ok that makes sense. I couldn't remember off the top of my head. They're only marginally smaller than the super 60 compressor wheel on the 368s less than 2mm difference in compressor inducer.

Numbers always make sense for people:

There's really not a huge difference but more goes into the design of a turbo than wheel size. It will help give people a general picture of what to expect though.

Definitely 500+whp with my setup and very aggressive tuning at the time. You might have seen my annihilation thread that someone else started where I posted teardown results.

I also have a set of 0.8bar upgraded wastegates available that were recently inspected, resealed, and tested to 40psi. These can be included as a bundle deal, if interested.

hey im interested in the package for the turbos and .8 bar wastegates I own a 1995 vr4 pushing 349.7 awhp and 402awtq on stock 9bs wanting to get on that 500+range ive got a godspeed fmic and custom piping. 800 cc injectors walbro 255 and a aem v1 with custom tune
