View Full Version : Civil court case got letter from (Judge )

So a little over a month ago my neighbor hit my car while parking and told the cops that it wasn't her. well i go downtown and file the claim and about a week later get a letter in the mail from the Judge Mathis TV show asking if i would like to take my claim to their courts. So on Monday I am going to call and agree to it. A free trip to Chicago (free food and hotel room I would expect) figured i would post up and see what everyone's feedback was. Also thinking about name dropping this site too :cool: :p see if we can get some more members!!

make sure and say stuff that gets under her skin so she loses her composure. dont lose yours and speak with conviction and enunciate every syllable. you will come off as the one in the right as, her defenses will kick in and she'll make a mistake. ive watched alot of court tv, sad!

yea they found my case from searching for cases withing certain areas... I will try to remember that. try not to say anything out of turn hope I do get to to there. oh BTW it is Judge Mathis!!

LOL, they contacted me a couple years ago when my Pit supposedly mangled the neighbors dog. Offered to pay any judgment costs as well.

Unfortunately I didn't do it and doggy cops came and killed him...

i think i am going in with a suit lol... but yea she said that she called and said that she would go on the show as well... havent heard anything yet but we shall see. will keep updated...

I received one of those letters, too, a few years back...but it was for a different 'judge' show..can't recall which one. I declined the offer.
