Very nice :)
My father in law was big on Cadillac. He had the only Copper/Copper colored caddy I ever saw.
They are a far cry from those days and some of them are very mean machines...
Just what those young children of yours need....

To age myself, it was a Coupe Deville....

Titties. Man this is one of the cars I always tell myself I will buy next. I love my a CTSV

CTS-V is a bad ass car without the supercharger, this is even more bad ass.
I was looking at these last night and I found that they had a few that you could get with the Lingenfelter package that made them more aggressive and more power on tap, same engine and supercharger. These cars are just plain monsters on the road, the 6.2L V8 is super powerful and nearly indestructible. They accept small mods very well. I hope you get to at least have fun with that car, at the same time, it's comfortable enough to take the wife and kids out and still be tame.

Gorgeous car. Congrats, man! I've had excellent luck with my Escalades.
Tell us about your impression. :)

Ah snap! I've wanted to get one of these for awhile. It wouldn't even have to be the supercharged one because I'd do a twin turbo beside the tranny setup hooking back into some of the factory exhaust. It'd be so easy and make good power. I don't like the fact the older CTS-Vs require a ridiculous rear diff upgrade so I may save for awhile longer after paying off some school loans to get one this body style.

This is probably one of the only GM's I would consider once I get rid of the Grand Prix. The only other one would be a Vette, or possibly an XLR.

My grandparents had a Deville. I remember driving it one day while I had my learner's permit. Had to turn the wheel 90 degrees to make a lane change. Cadillac has come a long way.

It's hard to fully explain. When I first got on the throttle I thought "This doesn't feel as fast as I expected it to be." Then I looked down and was doing 100 and had to shut it down. The car is just so planted and smooth that it's speed is very deceptive. It outruns and outhandles any other car I've been in which is a feat for a 4300 lb car. I still can't believe how good this car is in the twisties.
The supercharger whine will never get old. The gas tank is miniscule and it gets the same mileage as my Explorer, but who cares? The best part is that no one in town really understands what I'm driving except the very few in the know. The majority of them think it's just a more expensive Cadillac, so that should keep the boy racers off my back.

As the ex-owner of an Exploder, I appreciate that last, Tyler.
Mine had a serious drinking problem; a voracious appetite for all automotive fluids.
Haven't caught up on your thread; is it stock and for not for long? :)

It's stock and staying that way for a long long time. It's a lot of car as it is. If anything the stock wheels need to be cleaned up a bit. They have road rash from the previous owners and the wife was the main driver. :p If anything I'd take the opportunity to repaint the wheels to a gunmetal finish.

Beautiful car! I know I said it on facebook, but congrats again!
I test drove one earlier this year when I was shopping. I really wanted a V Wagon, they were just more than I wanted to spend. But dear God it is an amazing machine!
Love it!

I would have loved to get a wagon, but they were impossible to find within a reasonable driving distance, especially sub $40k.
Any drivetrain mods will have to wait for a couple of years. I will just enjoy it as it is for now. It's plenty good enough for me and I simply don't have the luxury of time to mess around with it right now.
