Hi All,

Someone had recommended me to the MAC 3port boost solenoid to use with Chrome ECU v2

So Ive bought one which arrives in a week.

So am I correct in thinking that the wiring in of the solenoid can simply go in place of the stock solenoid and I just need to input the scaling in the rom for it?

Sorry if this question has been asked already. I'm on my phone and the search function doesn't seem to want to work for me today.

Thanks

No scaling, and these have not been tested on the flashed ecu's yet. However it is said to not be an issue by a couple people. The worry was they might be too large of a load for the ecu.

I will be using mine this way as well.

Ah right. Sorry my wording was wrong re scaling.

I just hoping that this can work in place of the stock solenoid.

Yes but keep in mind you can't setup like a stock solenoid. Talking about the vac line routing.

I've done vac line reduction as I had a MBC in place till this MAC solenoid arrives and routing can be redone to fit it.
