i'm not at all sure what to do now. i thought i had a plan, but what's new? bunK'd.

should i build a spare long block for my car? it's looking like that'll cost around two grand plus the heads, plus gaskets, things i break, and other little 150~ junks that i'd want to do while the motor was out.

or

should i just buy a daily driver and park anibel? of course i'd like a nice non turbo 3s, but i suppose it could settle for a little civic that does nothing but not break.

Definitely buy a cheap beater for a daily driver. Eventually these cars get expensive to daily whether it's mods, maintenance, or parts wearing out. They can be reliable but it comes at a higher cost. It's nice to have another vehicle to rely on that way you're never rushed working on the 3S.

I always tell people if you're going to own one of these turbo cars then you should have a backup car. lol

backup car. Even though I basically daily my stealth its stressful to not have a spare. There are also lots of times when having something you aren't afraid to park anywhere and/or doesn't grab any attention is very good.

Get a DD that isn't a 3/S. Even the SOHC is a costly little bastard and some of the parts are a pain to find. Just find another car with a higher reliability and cheap factor and drive the piss outta it.

-two little h3 bulbs
-3" diameter pvc pipe
-a couple screws
-a buncha wire
-crystal clear adhesive from home depot

I knew people who rode their motorcycles year-round, including in the snow. I suppose it may depend on what your commute is. 5-10 miles in a somewhat rural area is a lot different than 30-40 miles in heavy traffic.
