Two weeks ago was when this whole issue started. I was driving to my moms shop. As I was downshifting for a red light, I noticed a loss in pressure. I made it off from the light to 3rd, and babied it to the store. By the time I got to the store and parked, I was unable to take the car out of gear with the car on.
I stayed inside for a good hour, came back outside, and there was a LITTLE pressure. I made it home.
Next day, I pumped my clutch.. and I had a bit of pressure.
Now, I let the car sit for over a week. Last night, I went to start my car, and all pressure was there. I went for a 10 minute drive, and it drove completely normally.
This morning, I started my car. I pushed in the clutch like 5 times slowly and long. Most pressure was gone.
This afternoon after work, i took my car to a transmission shop. My car drove there with normal clutch pedal pressure.
I didnt see any leaks under my car or by my clutch pedal, and my fluid reservoir shows that Im holding the same amount of fluid.
What could be causing this issue? To me, it sounds hydraulic. However, a mechanic at the shop thinks it may be a bad spring in the clutch or pressure plate.
I got the clutch replaced like 2 yrs ago with and ACT one.
Any thoughts?
