*I need more info on my 4bolt swap

So I'm gonna start its my bpu 92tt I got a spun bearing a month ago on the track after the 3rd pass, I ruin the crank. So i decided to buy a long block .. but yesterday I found on cg a 93tt and I bought it. . The guy said he parked years ago for some reason, he said it had no spun bearing or knoking sounds and the engine was rebuilt 10K ago.. so I check the compression and the front bank give 145 so I assume is good whit the dry cyl ... so now I have some questions my heads was refreshed like 500 miles ago before the spun and I want to reuse it whit the 93tt shortblok cuz I don't know the conditions of this one, I believe the shortblock it's 4bolts cuz it have no CAS sensor like the 92tt does ..*

So 1st my heads bolt on just fine on the 4bolt block? I want to re use it cuz I don't want to deal with the wiring swap ..*

2nd if it does do I have to make new time marks? I don't know on this one but I've read but I don't know what for..*
Or what else am missing?*
Or its better idea just drop in the long block into the 92tt?*

Any help or ideas , tips, infowould be appreciated ...

even if your heads have been "refreshed" you need to send them to the machine shop again to get washed. Any debris from spinning your bearing would be in the oiling passages, including those in the head. Pretty much, assume anything that sees oil on you car needs to be replaced, rebuilt or cleaned out properly (such as turbos, block, crank, oil cooler and heads)

The later model years use a different CAS,however when you put your heads on the 4 bolt block (which will bolt up) you can use your existing CAS sensor and wiring. I believe that the crank cog on the 2Gs is a tooth or two different from your 1G, but I believe that's also addressed with the proper oil pump anyhow.

Honestly, if you've got it all apart, you might as well go the full 9 yards and do all maintenance and get everything cleaned and/or replaced. Do your 60k (or 120k) and bearings while the engine is out. When the heads are off you can inspect the cylinder walls and hone on the short block and see if it needs to be replaced.

Whether you use the 4 bolt bottom end or your original two bolt, you're going to be better off doing all this maintenance and stuff now even if it costs you more up front.

Thanks man. . I decided to go with the longblock just drop in and just swap the cas sensor to the 93 heads ... All the timing components and wp was replaced recently on the 92 engine can that engine was well maintained can I reuse em?

Can u talk more about that 2 tooth I don't know nothing about that ... what I have to check ?
One more thing to make sure ... can I use my 92 plenum and fuel system? Please n thanks
