So, was looking at Harbor Frieght and they have one for $40, and it's the same kind that's in a youtube vid, but there are quite a few bad reviews because it only builds to 10%. Snap on and Matco make one but I really don't want to spend $100+ on something I'm only going to us once. Anyone have a recommendation on a brand?

I will agree on HF being junk, the gauges suck and regulator is iffy at best. If you don't want to shell out money for a decent one just make a fitting to attach to your air hose that threads into the plug hole.

Just to add info over here too...

HF unit IS OK, but only after replacing the gauges. The rest of it is OK just the gauges suck. I have used a number of brands over the years and all but one snap-on version were easy to use and reliable.

DIFFERENTIAL CYLINDER PRESSURE TESTER (AUTOMOTIVE) from Aircraft Tool Supply (http://www.aircraft-tool.com/shop/detail.aspx?PRODUCT_ID=2E-14) This is what we use on aircraft so they HAVE to be good! I use these all the time and there is nothing better.
