I just hope it will be in good hands once I sell it. If you know of anyone in the market send them my way! I would much rather the car stay on the forum (so I can check up on it  )

I knew your car was nice, but dang. That's nearly pristine.

Thanks man, it means a lot. I really put my heart & soul into this one and tried to make it my own. I wanted to make the car more aggressive without compromising the grand touring theme that the car is all about.

Ready for a new home! I am motivated to sell, and the price is now 15K OBO (forgot to put the OBO in the original listing).

Not going to give it away though, if she doesn't sell I think a new build might be in order :bigthumb:

Damn man, sad to see you get rid of her! What direction are you going?

Good luck with the sale, and I hope she finds her way into hands as capable as yours.

Thanks guys!

Jim is right, however it won't be on 4 wheels! Really got the itch to get back into motocross after several long years. I figure I should go out and ride now while I'm still young and get back into the 3/s when I have a better situation (can't even wrench on the 3/s comfortably for the next 3 years at least!).

I'm not trying to make a killing, I'm sure I've spent probably 80% my asking price in parts alone on this car. I just hope she finds a good home, I still cringe whenever I see my first 3/s driving around town looking like it hasn't been washed in months.

Let me tell you a story about mx, and bones... :suspect: it is much cheaper keeping the very nice 3s you have there.

We'll see.

A big part of it is the car is pretty much 99% perfect. While I did that because of my situation (4 or more years with no garage/wrenching access), it actually is another big part of my motivation to sell. I really have the most fun doing the work, and also doing testing in stages. Doing a mod and going out and seeing the difference, etc.. With this car it's all done and there's nothing left to do but drive it (which is also a blast). I don't have the heart to re-do all of the work that I just did (or the time, $$$, or desire) to do future mods. This car is pretty much exactly what I wanted it to be. Just a clean 3/s that keeps the GT feel with some nice performance and aesthetic upgrades. All it needs now is a new owner to enjoy it.

I can relate. I felt the same way when I built a 70 442. Hope she finds a worthy home.

I fall into this way too often. I do enjoy cruising around in my car and the rush from a 1-3 pull but I always get the itch to change something up. I work on it more than I drive but having a mechanical mind makes it interesting to see how parts work together or what tweaks do. I'm hoping once I get into tuning that will curb some of it but I bet I'll still change setups again. Lol. This platform definitely needs more testing. There's cookie cutter builds but not an exhaustive list of xyz parts with their corresponding hp improvements like you see other places that have a much larger aftermarket support.

That's what I liked about my old '92. There was always something that needed to be done, and always a good weekend project. Even when there wasn't something mechanical that needed attention I could screw with the AEM for the hell of it, even though I didn't need to.

I really want to try my hand at custom fabrication, etc.. but not on this car. This car as a whole is too nice. I want to pick up a nice clean 1g shell when my situation allows ( 10 years from now) and throw caution to the wind. Until then I'm just trying to pick up a decent truck and pay off my debts.
