yeah, I'm okay. fire was only a couple of miles away from where I live.

Last night, I was at the bar down the street from my house having a beer after work; after about 5-10 minutes of being there in walk about 50-60 firefighters (the majority of whom were from out of state) straight from the wake of one of the fallen.

One of widows asked if they could find her late husband's wedding ring in the ashes. They found it in the rubble of the destroyed brownstone (http://www.cbsnews.com/videos/widow-of-boston-firefighter-receives-his-lost-wedding-ring-after-deadly-blaze/).

Kinda surreal.

Just horrible. Imagine having to look for that. I guess the horror would be erased by the appreciation of the widow once you gave her the ring.
