Just as the title says, I'm looking for a non dented '91 TT oil pan. Any one have one?

3SX probably still have a few of their possibly faulty remakes on sale for really cheap.

May require some JB weld for leaking welds or elongating mounting holes.

Ya, I'm trying to avoid those, but I may end up getting one if I can't find a good used original

My advice is to avoid the 3sx pans. I got one that just needed elongated holes, and another that wouldn't even clear the crank girdle.

If those are the easily visible problems, I don't even want to think about what the clearance between the oil pickup tube and bottom of pan is. Might be just as good as having a dented pan.

I've also heard some skepticism in the same respects regarding their repro pick up tubes. You can still get oem pickups through ninja, though.

Thanx for the advice. Good to know that the pickup is still available. :) Any ideas on where to find a stock pan if I can't find one here?

They are still available from the dealer new, at like $205. Cherry Hill FTW. Search by part number, not by year.

Thanx for the info. Can anyone confirm that MD166157 is the correct part number for my application?

I would just call cherry hill to confirm. I believe we get an additional small discount there as well using code 3sgto if I remember correctly.

Quick Update: I managed to get a new pan through my local Mitsubishi dealer. I'm actually quite surprised that I could order one locally as the 3000gt wasn't sold in Canada.

It cost me $218 CAD

Scratch that. Even though the part was listed as available in their computer system, the dealership called me back to let me know that it has been discontinued. :(

Going to call Cherry Hill tomorrow to see if I can get one out of the States.

Yeah! More shipping charges! My favorite! :s

it shows up as discontinued if you search for it by year, hense why I said you have to look it up by the part number.

And that is precisely what I did my friend. I can read quite well. Thanx for the help.

Not sure if you're on the 3SGTO Facebook group, but you could go on there & ask Mike Sutton if that's something they can still get new or not. ;)

I'm not on Facebook at all, unfortunately. If someone would be willing to ask the question for me, that would be awesome. Or just get me in contact with him via email?

New ones have to be ordered from Japan. They take about 45-60 days to arrive. If you need a used one, I have them for $80.

Hans, you have still not replied to me.

Have you shipped the oil pan or not? I paid for it 2 weeks ago.
