Gym or all forms of exercise? I do everything I can to avoid the gym (in spite of my new membership)... I'm in the middle of flag football season. Got a pick-6 last week to keep my team from getting shut out, lol... On average I exercise in some way or another (baseball, flag football, basketball, bench press at my house, or gym) probably 2-3 times a week. During this past baseball season, "1" work out was ~6 hours (2 baseball games and a softball game, lol). The gym is so freaking boring! Maybe when I get old and weigh more than 160 lbs I'll have to get myself on a treadmill more often...

Whoa, you're less than 160 lbs? How tall are you Adam? I thought Texans came bigger than that!
I'll check back later, heading out to the gym now..you're right, it is freaking boring.

just started a routine again about a month ago after taking way too long off. 4 days a week alternating cardio and weight training, and will switch to 4 days weights, 1 cardio once I am feeling better about things.

Besides a few times in gym class when we had, i could never find a reason to work out, so i never did.

I run 4-5 days a week before work but that's about it except for pushups and pullups and stuff. Wish i had time to join a softball or soccer team or something.

Dang, that's pretty crazy. You must be getting pretty good at skating then! Any vids?

Yeah, I'd love to get involved with some sort of sport. It makes being athletic fun.

Im alright. I just listen to some really pumpin' music while I skate. Plus I have shin and elbow pads as well on top of the strap-on weights. it fells like skating on sand sometimes but my arms and legs are solid. it helps because once a week I swim.
problem is I cant stop. I can skid/slow down but not a full on brake. I dont know why LOL

vantage is correct, it becomes a addiction, for more than 20 years i would run 8 to 10 miles tue thru friday, take sat off and run 20 miles on sunday, take monday off to recover. it is addiction for sure, wrecked my ankle and never could get back. lucky i started shooting highpower and pistol to replace the running. i have friends who still run every day and are over 60 years old and have been running since grade school and never had a injury. so working out is ok just dont let it consume you.

I was at the gym until just this month. Too much going on so I took a few weeks off. I would like it more if there were more sports activities in my area for chicks, but alas, there is not much to chose from. I do like Macky's idea, though........

Right at 160 lbs, 5'11". Basically the same body I had when I graduated high school, haha... I'm skinny, but it's a lot easier to maintain this sort of frame with a desk job than it would be if I were jacked. Volleyball tonight :)

I clean up the shop, move heavy stuff around (sorta). I figure that's good enough. LOL

It's so hard to go to the gym! Feels like a chore!
I work out my finger muscles by typing on a computer.

I just got back in it (daily 3 mile runs...working up to 6). Plus I have soccer 2 days a week (actually the reason I started running in the first place). The thing I have trouble with is weight lifting...I can never seem to commit to it. And I have a free (but crowded) gym at school, plus a bench at home?! Soccer though I'm addicted to, I'd play daily if there were games that often. I play indoor year round, just so I have a steady once a week game, but now that fall is here I joined both a men's league and a co-ed one.

I used to work out at least 4 days a week but with work and my shitty hours I get around 2.

Its good to see such a high percentage of ppl who exercise on here. I have almost at least one person every day at work ask me what "pill" they can take to lose weight. The first thing I always ask is, "Do you exercise at all?", and 99% of the time the person says no. Some meds can help with weight loss but only when combined with a good diet and exercise.

i go to the gym every day of the week and take off the weekends (mainly because i just dont have time). i have always been in shape, but lately i have seen massive results. my 6 pack is coming in strong and i am able to put on more muscle quicker than before... i am only 21 so i guess my body is still maturing.
i am also dieting now which i have never done before... i would call it more like strategic eating though. lots of protein. and i run around and play practically every sport periodically throughout the week, mainly basketball, ult frisbee, and soccer. until im married i am gonna look good. thats how i see it.
