Hi guys. Really didn't want to have to resort to this but I'm getting desperate! I'm sure he's safe and well and is probably just dealing with some personal problems or something else, but basically he's got my ECU (which he's been SUPER awesome in helping me out with) and I needed it posted back a few weeks ago. Car's been sitting there for another 3 months now just doing nothing.
I've emailed him a few times and sent him a few PM's and the last few weeks heard nothing back - just wanted to know if anyone knew what the go was?
Brett if you see this - please email me asap!
Cheers, Paul.

I have not seen him post in a while but if I see him on another forum I'll point him this way. I might know somebody than can get a hold of him though.

He usually answers my texts unless he has been deployed. I too have an ECU getting repaired by him that has been a while out. Texted him just last week with no response. He will get back to you once he lands on US soil.

I think Brett is in service again but if someone can SMS him that would be great. I've heard from him once in the last month. My car's not had an ECU in it for over 3 months now. Just purchased a newer daily which had the clutch shit itself the day after I got it and now I'm in the pooper borrowing friends cars to get to work. If someone can try and get in contact with him that would be GREAT, This ECU is URGENT

That'd be great mate. No idea when he's back and well, him saying he'd send it off a few weeks back got me all pumped up! If he says anything back, please let me know! (Sucks being 40,000kms away....)

sent message, no response yet, don't know what's up. IIRC he had drill not too long ago, so unsure if he on a 2 week training thing.

Last heard from him 5 weeks ago. Argh. Seriously contemplating forking out another $400 for another ECU as I am getting fucking desperate now.

Also haven't heard from Wescott either (in aver 6 weeks) - It's like I've lost contact to the USA.

Not sure what the hell is going on these days. Unfortunately if I could recommend anything it would be to go through a legitimate company. For me at least, after a certain amount of time wasted it was worth it to spend the extra $.

I've dealt with wesctott numerous times and he's sent the injectors back super prompt. I sent him a set xmas time and didn't mind the car being off the road for a month as I'm really impressed with his service. It's now been off the road 3 months, owner of the house I have the car at is pissed off, My girlfriends pissed off as she's got a car she's paying rego and insurance for that's sitting there and I'm pissed off!
The ECU thing well again I'm just at my wits end. I need the friggin car moving. Anyone know of someone selling a chromed ECU who can flash on a custom ROM for me?

Edit:
Just got a suggestion from the chatbox. Perhaps you should contact Alan and see if he can ping Brett on this topic.

That'd be handy. I know on his website he says he's down Jan-Feb (again, didn't know this late December) but yeah states he'd be back open start of March.
Thanks for your efforts guys. Not the easiest being 50,000kms away.

I just sent out some messages for Wescott to some of the locals, he has been MIA for a little while which is very weird. We are making sure he is okay.

Well, that was quick.
He is having some renovations going on at his house and has been without internet for a few weeks. I think he is just backed up with a lot going on and no internet.

I reached out to someone that would know what up with Brett and got this response.
He's been working triple duty with military, ski patrol, and police work. He said that Tuftr's ecu is ready to be road tested, he just needs a chance to get that done before he ships it back.
I was surprised by Tuftr's thread in that he doesn't disclose that this is actually a pro-bono favor that Brett is doing for him and not a paid service.

Absolutely. He's doing me a massive favor to the hip pocket by offering his services for nothing. Again, I know now that he's involved in alot of work especially after hours - I just found it strange he made contact with me and then didn't hear anything for 6 weeks.
And as I'm sure most of you can understand, with the time spent off the road I'd rather of just paid the money to have the ECU back quicker - I have nothing against Brett - I know he's busy. But by starting this thread I was hopeful someone could contact him (which you have, which is just awesome!) just to get an update on things. As you can imagine it's a tad frustrating when all in one hit you cannot contact anyone and your cars are just sitting there collecting dust and bird droppings.
Guess I just need to keep waiting it out. You guys rock.

I honestly am thankful for what Brett is doing for me. I'm not 'dissing' or 'ragging' on him by starting this thread, so please don't take what I say the wrong way (I know sometimes I write in haste and things come across not as I intended them to)

Hi guys, is anyone able to forward on his Mobile phone number? I'm not fussed about the international call charges here, I really do need this ECU back.

Not sure if you seen this posting made on his site last Friday. There may be a window of opportunity here. I looked for a text but I think my communication with him was email only. I don't seem to have him in my contact list :(
Hello All. First let me Thank Everyone who has helped make this the greatest thing since sliced bread! Well, almost maybe . . . LOL
We are hoping to be shipping product again after May 2014.
Since March, my full time job has been more demanding then ever. I have been in and out of town for training events for my day job. In fact, at one point I said “My full time job is getting in the way of my part time job.” LOL Unfortunately there is not enough profit in ECUs to quit my full time job and make this my full time job.
And for most of May, I will be out of town with the Military again, and as usual, this throws giant wrenches in the gears.
I look forward to offering a new product in the ECU line and hope to have prototypes ready for the NG in June!
Keep posted!

Well that's a good sign! Can't do much hey, just bad timing. I just don't think this 2.5L is going to get the car driving so I might hunt down a Loan 3L ECU. I think the Diamante ECU is not seeing sensors it should and thus that may be why its running like shit.
Anyhoo, thank you for that post mate. Good to hear...

I am SO sorry to keep bringing this up, I can see on Brett's website he's off for military duties for another 4 weeks. + shipping I'm down at least another 6 weeks.
After a dead fuel pump, dead battery, and my paint now suffering from paint cancer (never spent this much time in the sun in it's life) I'm pretty desperate.
Offering $100US to anyone who can fast-track this......somehow.
Else I'm just going to buy another ECU. As you guys can imagine, almost 7 months off the road (due to no-one fault but my own) is taking it's toll on many...many things.
Cheers guys.

Honestly I'd buy another ECU. No doubt you will get the other one back sooner or later so just sell one of them when you get it.

Brett PM'd me today and has sent it back. I knew he'd get back to me, was just a case of when.
Looks like I'll have the ECU end of week or start of next week latest.
SUPER HAPPY FUN TIMES!
