The time has come to go back a few steps with my VR4. With all my other car builds coming to an end. I dont feel the need for a 1000whp VR4 anymore. The parts are the best of the best. Car is currently at Ray Pampena's place being dialed in. Have been talking to Ray about making a fun street car like his Red VR4. So if anyone has a good 3.0 short block and Billet Dr750 or simlar turbo. I would be interested in a trade and cash on your end.

Motor is a brand new Pampena 3.5 Stroker with all the Options. Has the Upgraded Italo A1 headstuds, New OEM Oil Pump, Water Pump, TBelt, Tensioner etc.. Heads i would argue are the best flowing stock casting 3/s heads out there. They were done by a local guy who does pro mod cars that spent 45 days on them playing with flow etc.. I took my old DR heads i had and on the same bench these flowed more by a good bit. Has custom grind 272 race cams, double springs, retainers, Oversize Valves, Cam Gears, Custom Drivers Side Intake with a billet surge tank and q45 TB. There is so much i am forgetting due to the time i have been building this car.
Everything on this motor is AN Fittings and lines, even the Vaccum lines and Coolant lines. Will come with a Koyo Alum Radiator as well, Custom Catch Can setup with all AN lines and fittings Custom Over flow bottle with catch can and fittings.. So much more i am sure i am forgetting. Everything is powder coated black as well. There is not one vaccum or any line on this build that is a rubber hose. its all hard lined with propper fittings.

Turbo Kit: Custom one off kit. Relocates the Turbos over the Transmission. Every bit of this kit is Vband and heat coated. Turbos are Precision 5857 Dual ball bearing Vband Housing .68 AR, WG are Purple Tial 38's, All the metal used in this kit is top knotch, Kit will come with a 6" Thick ETS Brand New FMIC (core alone was 1400$) With 3" Alum intercoller piping, Tial 50mm Purple BOV, All new couplers and Clamps. Also will come with a custom exhaust that is built with the kit. 3" Off of each turbo into a 4.5" dynomax bullet into a 4" out the back into dual 4" out the back with vibrant mufflers all aluminum. There will be some removing or moving of some stuff to make this work in your car. It was custom fit into my car. Not having AC.

Price for the Motor with everything on it: 10k obo For all the motor related things.

Turbo Kit: 8500 obo With everything Exhaust, FMIC Step Etc.

im sure someone will pick it up, and you can see what she is made of!

i dont understand though, why not just sell the turbo kit and get some 750's?

I dont need the 3.5 to do what i want, and everything on this car is made around that turbo kit. I am going to do a clone of Ray's Red car.

A clone with slightly less Italian :)

I would like your turbos, but they are not right for me.

I'm sure your next build will be legit!

I'm kind of sad but sort of happy at the same time. It sucks you didn't get to play around with the setup at all with your car being down for such a long time, but at the same time a simple setup will be much more fun. Look at how many 1%ers are under the knife constantly because of chasing bigger hp numbers. With your other builds there really isn't any reason to go for bigger power. Plus, a more sleeper DR-750 setup would be a great hussler around OKC. :D

I'd run 750s on 3.5L if it were me, but hey, do what ya gotta do.

Your reasoning? Please don't say quick spooling response because billet TD05 turbos will spool well quick.

Nah, not spool. 750's are fine on a 3.0L. But if you already have a 3.5L, you can make more power and still keep a lot of stuff "stock". I almost was leaning towards 750's, but went with 16g's because of cost. I can practically buy 2 new 16g's for the cost of 1 new 750.

Keep more stuff stock on the 3.5?

Please explain...

IPD

what i mean is, if he's already got 3.5L in there, just leave it and slap 750's on it and call it a day. matt m did that already, and with pretty nice results. plus, it puts you a hair more powerful than the guys running stock 3.0L.

That engine was built around huge power. It would be 1000x easier/cheaper to do what Jrod is doing.
