I've decided to put a lite weight flywheel into my car. When I still had my na tranny in I had an fidanza in so I know what to expect as far as dropping rpms. Now I'm putting in a 6 speed. Should I just go with another fidanza or a chromoly weighing in at 13.20 lbs. for half the price? I know the fidanza's are well made and its easy to change the plates. I have access to a laithe so facing the chromoly wouldnt be an issue other than it being a plating so I don't really know if you could get multi clutch changes out of it. Any thoughts?

The lighter the flywheel, the broader the range of damaging engine harmonics. You want to have a little bit of weight on one end unless you have a custom harmonic balancer or else you're going to start wiggling shit loose.

I was worried about that as well. That's why I was planning on using the stock harmonic balancer instead of my unorthodox pulley. I know 3sx sells an aftermarket balancer. Sence my car is fwd I doubt I will ever build her much over 400hp. I know there was a guy named Brian on 3si that strongly advised against lite weight flywheels for that reason. I would like to go with a liter flywheel but not to the risk of spinning a bearing
