Hey all,

So I'm looking into possibly changing out the crappy front cloth racing buckets that a PO installed & stumbled across a complete set that looks really nice.

The only problem is that they appear to be an actual black, rather than the charcoal gray that I'd be pulling out (my rear seat).

I asked the seller if he knew which seat skins were used to cover the original foam inserts, but he was under the impression that these were still factory skins (~91,000 on the clock) & assured me that they aren't as black as they're shown in the pictures.

I was under the impression that all years used the perforated leather inserts in the center section for both the fronts & rear. Isn't that correct or did they change to more of a cushioned rear seat bottom skin for the second gens?

I've attached a couple photos to get people's opinions on them. Also, for anyone who did change their seats to a darker black color, but kept the interior quarters, doors, A/B-pillars charcoal, how does it look?

Thanks!!http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/12/21/ahajaseb.jpghttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/12/21/buse3ege.jpg

Awesome, thanks for the info! These have aftermarket skins on them, which is easily seen by how "fluffy" the rear seat pan looks.

Think the darker color would look alright against charcoal accents? I'm kinda leaning towards purchasing these because they would be an entire kit, so it could look good.

My shift knob is already black, so I think I could work with these.

There is also charcoal accents in my car there. The only thing from the black interior car in mine is the seats and carpet. I have the leather inserts for the door panels, but they are not on yet.

Cool, that info & your photo was enough to get me to jump on a very reasonable deal! There's a scratch on just the coloring on the driver's side bolster, but I should be able to get that fixed quite easily.

If these are the ones from eBay I thought they were from a Sypder? Doesn't the Spyder have different back seats and seat beat guides on the front? I was looking at them my self and yes they appear to be recovered.

The guy told me that he removed them from a '94 model year vehicle, which I am 99.5% sure that the Spyders were only available in '95 & '96.

I have a mix of black and charcoal in my interior and it really doesn't look like a big difference. They go together fairly well and most people wouldn't even notice a difference.
