personally, i'm convinced that this game will suck. i base this on the fact that monolith isn't developing it, and that it's designed to be a movie tie-in, rather than a game in its own right. that...and it's a console game with a "windows port".

one more epitaph on the road to gaming mediocrity due to over-catering to console gamers.

Batman Arkham asylum was a "port" of a console game.

One of the best games I've played in a long time.

I'd sure as hell give it a chance. I loved the old school game. :)

it's not being developed by monolith. i smell mediocrity coming.

well i'm going to post it here, rather than create a new thread.

i saw tron legacy in imax 3d. if you didn't, you missed out. awesome movie is awesome. olivia wilde is uber-hot. and the light cycle battle was worth the price of admission by itself alone. story was slightly on the weak side...but still very, very good. i would definitely expect a sequel.

amazing how many haters there are towards this series. twatlight, harry pothead, hackjobSAW, and a host of other series have been churning out sequels like they were doughnuts. tron was out before ANY of that; predating "the matrix" by 17 years. and it's still better than any of that crap.

Just saw Tron last night. Movie was really good. I didn't see it in imax because I don't have any local and I didn't watch it in 3d because I don't particularly enjoy 3d movies, but I enjoyed it for sure. Not that I want to put out any spoilers, but the ending was horrible. Seriously. What a horrible way to end that movie.

As far as games go, I can't think of a single "game made to suck on the teet of a popular movie" that was ever any good. Most of them are god awful. Spiderman was my favorite superhero growing up and now I don't even want to look at anything with a Spiderman name.

I do have to agree about the windows port stuff. I miss the days when companys actually made pc games.

yes, the ending could have been better. i just hope that jet bradley and sam flynn get to team up against dillinger in a sequel. :D

the 3D was actually even more subtle than with Avatar. it mainly was used to raise the actors from the background, giving the scenes some depth. it was not invasive at all.
