Like the alphabet soup says in the title... I'm having a strange issue with my AEM that I didn't with the ECU. Whenever I'm at more than 3/4 of the pedal, by Check Engine Light turns on, and the tach goes to 0 (regardless of speed). If I lift the accelerator pedal to 3/4 or less, CEL turns off and tach returns to actual readings. (Tach on lappy still shows actual RPM).

The other strange thing I noticed is that the OEM boost gauge in the dash (which I am not using) has a similar quirkiness related to the pedal. With less than 3/4's and the needle is buried at the very bottom of the gauge, and at WOT it goes instantly to the top of the gauge.

Any ideas/suggestions?

How is your EMS wired in? Are you still using a MAF?

No MAF, just running speed density now.

I unplugged the harness from the ECU and plugged it in to the AEM, and wired in the AIT sensor, 5-bar MAP sensor, etc. using the diagram that shows which pins correlate to each sensor. TPS seems to be working well, and I adjusted for zero and WOT on the lappy, so the ranges are accurate.

Seems like wiring to me. I used the wiring that is shown in this wiki article: AEM Engine Management System (EMS) FAQ - 3SI Wiki (http://www.3si.org/wiki/index.php?title=AEM_Engine_Management_System_(EMS) _FAQ)

Thanks, I'll look through this to see if I wired something wrong, or have a short somewhere.
