is what this site is. Granted there are a few bone heads and what not but now that I have another platform I've come to realize just how much readily avaiable info and "walk throughs" there are out for the 3S. I've got a 2002 Lexus GS430 and frankly there is nothing out there for it and as far as some of the forums go if you don't have a Lex with a 2jz in it you're shit out of luck. the forums are completely useless for this car.

who would have thought keeping my 21year old VR4 would have been the more reliable option.

with all these people who like to tinker, we're bound to stumble upon a useful thing or two along the way.... =b

Benefits of 3/S Owners: A high percentage of engineers..And a high percentage of people made into engineers due to owning a 3/S :suspect:

before I got this car I was scared to put an exhaust on my GS-R. after, I 'd feel totally comfortable pulling the entire engine, breaking it down, putting it back together and dropping it in.

Owning a 3/S makes you either become mechanically inclined or go broke paying someone who is.

LOL @ this thread. Been trolling jeep sites.. (recently purchased a WJ)...I have found the information is out there...just more scattered....probably similar to your lexus. I think there are about a half dozen jeep forums out there... it seems you would have to expect that with a vehicle as ubiquitous as a jeep. Try a dedicated lexus aftermarket vendor (if there is such a thing) for online FSMs. I would hope you could find some walk thru's but I guess most lexus owners take it to the dealer :Bwahaha:

I have to agree that our platform (the supportive people here) help you do eeet and save you from the stealership....you simply have to amortize the work between your day job and other obligations. I'm fixing to replace a front CV axle, radiator, and differential fluids this weekend...never thought I'd be getting into that.
