I was looking for camber alignment bolts for my car online, when I ran into this website. I haven't found what I was looking for yet, but since I am looking at aftermarket steering wheels I thought I would take a look at their selections, and it found this Air Bag Light Eliminator (http://www.streettunedmotorsports.com/parts/works_bell_splash_air_bag_light_eliminator_spl_xps b_h.htm)!
Has anyone tried this before?

we don't have an air bag light... those are probably for evos to retain the side air bags

We do have an airbag light. That's what the SRS light is.

The light only comes on if you have an impact sensor malfunction or a deployment. It doesn't illuminate if you swap out the steering wheel or disconnect the airbags. I have an aftermarket steering wheel in all my cars and no srs light illuminated when I swapped.
The camber bolts you seek are called crash bolts.

To get this off topic, here are the bolts you need: Eibach Pro Alignment Kit - 3S - Maximal Performance (http://www.maximalperformance.com/store/eibach-pro-alignment-kit-3s.html)

Are the bulbs burned out...? An open circuit in the squib sets a code 22 and turns on the SRS lamp.
As far as the product listed, it's a 2-3 ohm resistor... Not exactly high tech or difficult to fabricate.

if you remove the computer, nothing is there to turn on the light, lol

Incorrect.
I pulled a bunch of the interior out of my Spyder to do some leak testing on the roof. Including the steering wheel and airbag.
I put the wheel minus airbag back on, and pulled out into the driveway. The SRS light came on at startup.
I finished my testing, reassembled the car, and the light was still on. I had to clear it with my DRB2. There's also a fault code that can be tripped by a low battery / low charging condition. That one usually clears itself, but it sometimes requires a scantool reset.
Yup I agree ^ definitely not true otherwise we wouldn't have to reset the SRS when our clocksprings break.

Do those actually work?? I saw my local parts store had them, but I didn't buy them thinking they wouldn't work. How do they work compared to the OEM style?

They just have larger eccentric ends to allow for more adjustment.

They work exactly like the factory ones... They're just built with more offset, therefore offering a wider range of adjustment.
Edit: damn, tree'd again... I need to remember to hit the refresh button before I start to type.... :D

You must have bulbs out of something. When I unhooked my air bag then started the car to move it outside it came on. Jeff V. had to clear it for me at NG.

Wait, so you can take care of the light just by clearing the SRS module of codes one time?

I was just working on the car so I had the bag hooked back up when Jeff cleared my code. I think it will come back on if you have the air bag out. Probably the easyest thing is to remove the bulb.

Anything I should look for on rear camber bolts such as brands for quality? Unless I order them online by sunday, I would like to avoid having to wait for them in the mail vs buying them locally since O'Reilly's had the same design.

For the rears go with a set of adjustable control arms.
AWD: http://www.maximalperformance.com/store/suspension/awd-adjustable-control-arms.html
FWD: http://www.maximalperformance.com/store/suspension/fwd-adjustable-control-arms.html
The way the rear is setup you won't get that much more adjustablity with the eccentric bolts as you would on the front.

I got those from you already. My challenge is that because the inside locking nut can't be loosened and tightened without taking the inside of the camber arm out. So I need rears ones to make fine adjustments, because the only shop that I have found that would move the exhaust down and out of the way to do this without charging me an extra $50 is an hour drive away from me.

And the stock ones won't serve that purpose...?

Oh I forgot to mention that I made the mistake of not keeping my stock ones. So now I have to find another pair. I have found some new ones online, but it's on a UK site.
I haven't tried the dealer yet, but I wanted to see if I could find some cheaper aftermarket ones.

I just yanked my bulb when I swapped the steering wheel. No need for a warning light for something I don't have anymore.

I agree... But if you had a 2nd gen, and wanted to keep the passenger bag functional, fooling the controller into thinking all is well would be the only way to do it.

Paperclip in the air bag plug should fool the SRS computer into thinking the air bag is there. Won't help your face when you crash, passenger should be good though. Haven't verified it on our cars, but it's standard testing procedure on many others.
I've had the code 22 and the SRS light on since I bought the car 7 years ago. I should probably fix it, but instead I just won't crash it. :)

Nope... It will set a code 21 squib shorted code. Deliberately setting a short circuit code is a valid test if you're diagnosing an open circuit code, but I prefer to just use an appropriate resistor and get no codes if the system is working correctly.
Specs are system specific, but the vast majority will set a shorted code anything under 1 ohm, and an open code anything over 4 ohms. I keep a couple 2.5 ohm resistors in my box just for that purpose.

There are very cheap scan tools on Amazon for the OBD2 cars that will clear the SRS error. Mine is on since I swapped out the stock wheel for the evo 5 wheel. But can't find a cheap scanner to clear the code on my OBDI system.
