View Full Version : GZP rear diffuser!
Now that I got the front of the car looking how I want with the splitter and HID projects I decided that a rear diffuser was next. Picked this up from GZP.

Real nice... I've been thinking on getting a second gen rear bumper but this looks really good on a 1st gen TT

I just love the look of the GZP diffuser, I'm curious if/how much performance gains you will report from it.
I doubt I will notice a thing lol.

looks awesome!!
IDK sits abit too low for my taste.
would sit better if you cut the bumper like 2" or so. would also make the diffuser more effective. right now it looks almost paralell to the ground which makes it kinf of pointless. not hating just giving opinions :) It's nice really nice just too low.
I'm thinking cutting like this and then tuck it in there. But idk. Maybe the tank is in the way for that.

I think there is room to do that.
I had thought about it actually but I don't want to cut up into the bumper anymore it just wouldn't work without completely reworking the bumper. I was actually thinking of trimming the top of the diffuser for more angle of air expansion but mostly because I wasn't sure if I could get out of my driveway lol. After measuring I found it would work and decided I'd see how it looks without making any changes to start. Maybe if I get some time later this year I'll revisit it.

I like it, but would worry about scraping it, via dips in the road, potholes, speed bumps or slanted driveways/parking lots. Looks nice though

We never had a problem with it hitting. Drove Em's car to BRG with it on last year.
Well after a few weeks of driving it around I don't hit it anywhere. Well, actually I nicked it once when I was first learning the angles of my driveway since the road goes down then up to the sidewalk. Didn't do anything though so that's good.

Looks great! But i would love to see how the diffuser would look like in a 1st gen VR4.
It would not work without heavy modification.
