5676I know there are a handful of Vette ppl. here.

My C5 is lowered, been lowered for yrs. I'm hearing a clunking sound in the rear suspension. Linda (my better 1/2) thinks its the strut bar gromets that are worn out. I can't really notice any loss in handling, I guess it's more annoying than anything. Any ideas other than ^ Thnx.

Is the clunk when you hit a bump, or just at any given time?

Could be the rear strut mounts.

Usually cornering, speed bumps as well. To me it feels like when the weight of the car fluctuates side to side or front and back. Straight smooth roads, I hear nothing. Car / exhaust is fairly loud, and the fact that I can hear it is a little bothersome...
