the little brackets are probably worn out. there is a U shaped metal clip in there, squeeze it together a bit, that might help hold it in place better.

If you buy everything else, I'll throw those clips in for free. I have a pair sitting on my desk right now, with the screws.

This is a copy of the email I typed up for you back in september.


The exterior door weather stripping, your best bet, would be to contact Cherry Hill Mitsubishi. You'll want new ones, and I think they're priced at like 65 or 70 each. Their direct # is 856-382-3416.

The interior weather stripping is clamped to the interior door panel, and EXTREMELY hard, if not impossible to swap out without destroying your interior door panel. The cardboard is so flimsy, it just rips it apart, so, even if you do get it off, the clamps are so tight that it's nearly impossible to get them back on. I have some bad interior panels that I could probably try hacking up, to get you the inner stripping if you want. Or, I can sell you a complete replacement interior door panel for $100 in perfect condition. Totally up to you though.

You need a 110amp, 90amp?? $100, tested.

Any chance of getting a chunk of that wiring harness from the door into the fender so I can splice mine together?

Oh crap, I also wanted to trade out some of the small circle push buttons on the main cluster bezel - like fogs, since I removed them for FMIC - but I don't think those are swappable by themselves, are they? If they are, I want 4 of those.

Let me know the price on a set of 93+ heads. I found out the local machine shop screwed up the copper o-rings or didn't replace them at all so I have to tear the engine apart. I may be upgrading heads and I'd need some for a core since the ones on the car are already ported with titanium springs and retainers.

I have a 93 TT shell (no sunroof), has 93k miles on it (Hans yanked the gauge cluster years ago). I bought it from FL about 7+ years ago, and just got totally screwed on the car (LONG story).

Has a salvage history due to engine bay fire... nothing in the engine bay currently was damaged (wiring harness/battery burned, those are gone now anyway). it's been sitting outside for quite a few years, paint is shot, some body panels are missing (front bumper is gone, driver fender is dented by the door, I have a hood laying around I can include with it, window regulators were taken out of it years ago)... how complete do you want it? In it's currently condition, I'd take $650 for it, interior needs a gut (gross in there)

If you want all good body panels, lights, etc, let me know, I can put that all together. Shoot me a PM if you're interested, I honestly try not to look at the car, because it pisses me off. I can send current pics, stats, etc. I'll have to dig the title up from the depths of my filing cabinet.
