3S Picture Game

[arisr1]

Name a place or thing to take a picture with your 3S. First person to go out, take, and post the picture picks the next one. Must be a picture taken after the challenge picked. Try not to make it impossible. No photochops. If nobody else gets the picture within 1 week the person that picked it can choose a new one. New challenge must be picked when picture of the last one was posted

RULES:

1) After 3 days, the person who made the challenge can post their own picture and pick another topic.

2) If a challenge is not met after 1 week a new topic is picked.

3) If a pic is in dispute, it needs 3 yes votes to be accepted.

4) After any comment, please put the current challenge at the bottom so everyone can stay up to date.

5) Pictures must be taken OFF of the car.

6) Pictures must be taken AFTER the challenge. Rare exceptions such as pictures taken on the day BEFORE the challenge may be accepted only by 3 acceptance votes.

7) The following types of challenges are not allowed:
action shots
challenges involving other people
duplicate challenges(this includes BRIDGES!!!!)
illegal challenges

8) If a picture has been posted but a new challenge has not been picked, the current challenge is still active until (a) new challenge has been picked or (b) another driver posts another picture satisfying the challenge and picks a new challenge.

If I wasn't a broke college student I would drive down to the power plant that's 45 mins away from my house. The only problem is that would cost me a tank of gas and run the risk of breaking down in the middle of nowhere. gotta love my confidence in the reliability of my car. haha

I live near about 6 power plants. Unless one works at a power plant they probably arent going to get to photo their car at one due to security. They throw a shit fit if you try to even take photgraphs at power plants around here, and they are all just coal fired.

Haha there is a grain refinery across the way from my work and that is the closest I can get to some what of a power plant. Should be something simple like next to an old building or next to a pinetree.

this is pretty simple... you don't have to be inside the facility. park as close as you can and snap a quick photo and if the rent-a-cop leaves his gate... use them turbos and haul ass!!! It doesn't have to be all professional or anything.

I'll snap the photo tomorrow when I get out of work... there's one I pass on the way home.

This defeats the purpose to me. To take a picture with a 3s and a power plant they need to both be a focus of the photo. With a power plant being 100 yards in the distance, it may as well not be in the photo.

Man, this is my one and only post on this thread, since my vr4 is in pieces right now.... WE HAVE 6 PAGES OF POSTS AND 1 PICTURE!!!! Why are so many people posting without pictures? I like the idea of this thread and want to see pictures. If my VR4 was running, I could have done the power plant. There is a coal plant which can be seen in the distance almost anywhere in South Jersey.

There are so many posts without pictures because the original subject was too definitive in its request. At a power plant is very exact and the fact is, like I already said, if its in the distance, it may as well not be in the picture. I can see two power plants from my house. I guess if they are a spec in the background in a photo then it counts?

The next challenge is becoming even more assinine because of its request for a photo with a waterfall.

This isn't a real challenge. Don't make it a scavenger hunt. Make it something that almost every owner can complete then we can actually have a vote.

Say a picture with your 3s at a manufacturers plant, or your 3s with a body of water. How hard is that?

guys. this is not brain surgery. if no one gets the challenge in a week, a new one is assigned by the person that completed the previous challenge. I personally thought the first challenge was simple but I do agree the second challenge is really tough, it is what it is.

the r6 forum i'm involved in has over 300 challenges that have been achieved and it's version 2. version 1 got so long that they decided to start over by creating a version 2 but carrying the previous challenges from version 1 so they are not duplicated.

anyway, hopefully as soon as we pass this challenge, the person issuing the next challenge can keep it real simple so everyone can have a shot at it.

I didn't think that this would be that hard of a task. I have over 10 waterfalls with in a 40 min. drive from my house. I drive by more than one everyday. http://geology.com/waterfalls/ shows more than enough locations in the us alone. We're a global forum how could this be that difficult? Sure there going to be people that wont have the as many opportunity's as others to complete the challenges. I personally don't think the challenges should be too easy, Not with the amount of people participating. Just my thoughts

Sadly I've been in almost all of these situations, but the only pics I have are of my 3s in my driveway. Best friends a blonde, I realized I have NO pics of her with the car, and she likes my 3s more than I do. Strange. Towed two 3S's in the last two days, pushed three up hills. lol
Good call with the thread OP, definitely need more colorful environments for photos of the cars.
Might have to get a pic pushing my ES tonight... gotta' tow it again anyways. XD haha

Damn! I missed the "1000 miles from home" challenge. San Diego to the NG in Memphis was over 1800 miles and there are dozens of pics of my car there. Oh well, I'll keep waiting for one I can do.
