My evo build start to almost finish.

I picked up an 03 EVO8 which had the following goodies on it:
HKS 272 cams
Ebay T3 Exhaust Manifold
Garrett/Precision GT35R
PTE 880 injectors
Meth injection
4"FMIC w/ Injen piping
Full 3" Titanium Exhaust

It was at this time I gave(yes gave) my garage queen VR4 to a local forum member who could/would care for the car more than I could.
So this gave me the time and ability to start my build:

Lovely moment for myself with this... I purchased a set of Weisco Pistons prior to tear down (std bore) well found out I need a overbore set... so here are the weisco's

So to remedy this, I ended up picking up a set of Mahle .020 over stroker pistons(have not recieved yet so no pictures, nor the 4G64 crank shaft I picked up.. All that should be here by friday of this coming week) you gotta love DSM forums for stuff... also if you know anyone that needs std bore forged 4G63 pistons... I got em for CHEAP.

I got lucky with these, a guy I know from work has a EVO9 and had the same thing happen to him so he sold me his old rods for a deal I could not refuse.

In the video you can hear a popping sound, its random, Im thinking its either a back fire, or something is loose in the mounting of the engine.

In engine bay video and no noises in this one, so not sure what it is right now. I have a oil leak and exhaust leak to deal with by/before weekend then ready to roll.

Can't figure it out. cylinders 1 & 3 are not firing proper, plugs wet. Timing dead on. Cams gears are properly installed. Wires are 5k ohms, so are good there. On the evo the coils are dedicated to cyl 1-2, and 3-4, so not a coil issue. Will be taking my injectors over to swap out to see if 1, and 3 may be stuck open. Oh, swapped plugs out as well with the same results.

If there are any ideas out there, post em up please.

Problem solved.....

It helps if Cyl 4's coil(which has a wire to cyl 1) is on Cyl 4...

Since they are timed together, they have to spark together and cyl 2 won't help that......
