With all of the stroker and turbo options out there, what kind of dyno #'s and trap speed are you guys getting on pump gas? It seems everyone runs meth, E85, or C16 at that point, but I was trying to figure out a build to make solid pump gas power but had a hard time finding any answers.

When your asking about highest lump gas HP are you asking about with completely stock heads and bottom end?

No I'm asking period. From stock motor w/ td04s to built strokers w/ huge turbos. Im not necessarily looking for one specific person w/ the highest, just what kind of pump gas #'s the high HP cars are getting.

It's going to be Ray, or one of the cars he's tuned (italo, leonel, etc.)

Look at IGOFAST in the garage. Big power (regardless of fuel choice) starts (and ends) with carefully selected parts/machining operations which work with each other to produce the best result. I'm not sure if 609AWHP qualifies for your definition of high horsepower, but it has its fair share of "kills". To the point the locals have begun to refer to my wife as "the snake hunter".
Starting point, IMHO, is a carefully prepared fully built long block. Professionally ported/polished cylinder heads with O/S valves are best. I use stock valve train parts as the car's intended as a DD. If the block, rotating assembly and heads are done right, the choice of fuel is almost secondary. Yes, E85 will make more power than 93 pump, and so on. A well prepared fully built motor will make more power on whatever fuel you run than a poorly prepared stocker will make on the same fuel.
Just my 1.5 cents worth.

I think Adamvr4 still has the true pump gas 1/4 record on 16gs, I don't know if anyone even tried to break it.

No way I could match that 11.2 or 126 trap on my tired ass engine today. Was getting a couple counts at just 1.2 bar last night. Felt slow as hell. Really jonesing for octane. Time to fill up the jugs with some leaded shit... Or I can put my fuel lines in and use either of my local e85 pumps... sigh.

From Nelson's sig..."10.43@149 AT 13 PSI ON PURE 93 PUMP GAS"
That would be the quickest and fastest that I know of.

Was it ever validated? "13" psi ... Dude refuses to ever post a log ... For no logical reason at all ... So I'll never believe him unless there's video and reputable witnesses.

Haha. So you guys thinking 600-700whp is the current limit on pump gas or does someone have anything PROVEN beyond that?

Theres 700 on 93. Probably had more in it with the size of the back end on those 6262's.

I think Nelson has the supposed record at 1000+awhp on pump, though it's never been verified and never will be, no dyno graph either. . Mine did 715 on pump this last February (tuned by Ray) but I'm sure there's a number of people who've done better (I'd guess Italo or Leonel). Ray can problem chime in on what he's seen. Get a stroker, big turbos, supporting mods, a tune, and there you go (sorta.. ha). At the track, AdamVR4 has the time to beat I think (again, there's no proof of Nelson's times) for pure pump. 7-8 years later, I don't think anyone has eclipsed his time.

I thought Ray did 739.5AWHP on 6262s with pump. I'm not sure what Itallo did with twin 67mm turbos on the 3.7L.
