FS: Fuel injector quick disconnect clips/plugs

I have a set of 6 quick disconnect clips. Now you can replace your broken, pain in the ass to remove injector plugs with quick connect one. All have about 6" of tails for you to cut/solder these on.

Better yet.... I just found another bad full of them!! I knew I had more around here I just thought I tossed them out, hence the reason I am going though everything again!

I'm going to go through them and make sure they are all still good as it is a wire ball of a mess right now. I'll post back up here in a bit when I get them all straightened out.

I may have to get a set of these once my engine is running again. Might be able to find a source for brand new ones as well and hopefully the pins to go with. Just a quick note....its best to never solder onto an engine harness. Solder is brittle and the connection can fail due to vibrations. Harness repairs are best made with crimped connections, completed with shrink tubing. :)

I soldered mine on a couple years ago and haven't had any issues. I also redid my entire harness with tape and Loom so it's all nice and neat.

I found brand new ones a couple years ago and they wanted like $7-8 each with the tails and then add shipping. I couldn't justify the cost. I always made a note going to the junk yard to grab ones I found. We packed up most of the house months ago and I lost track of where everything went. I finally found these going there all my crap...LOL The used ones I have are in great condition. I make sure none of the wires are brittle like our stock ones get after years of heat.

In case you sell out and people are still wanting some quick disconnect plugs you can get some nice ones at http://www.spoolinup.com (http://spoolinup.com/). That's where I ordered my easy squeeze injector clips. I definitely won't go back to stock clips and metal retainers. Mine were getting brittle with age and heat.

Yeah same here. I hated those clips and most of mine were broken. I had the rear bank clips zip-tied to the injector to ensure they wouldn't come disconnected while driving!!!

I looked at those before and almost went that route but some of my wires going into the injector clips themselves were brittle and the insulation was cracking. So I couldn't go the route of unpinning them. I needed to replace the wires also.

I don't doubt that at all. I was just saying its good practice to avoid soldering if possible. Something I've learned about mil-spec motorsport harnesses ;)

I used to be a mechanic in the Military "ARMY" and the MIL-Spec harnesses on every vehicle from the Humvee to the M1A-1 Abrams had solder points. Usually the common ground points. They had crimp terminals to hold the wires together and then soldered over them.

There is nothing wrong with soldering, stock harness has tons of solder points in it already.

Having the pigtails definitely makes it easier due to the age of our cars. I have a big spool of automotive TXL wire left over from making my clone ecu adapter harness so I planned to use that if I needed it. Honestly, I haven't gotten around to installing them yet but I really need to. Two of my injector clips are cracked/missing partial pieces.
