Regret to inform you guys that I made a booboo. Yes it does happen once in awhile but its better to admit my mistakes than try to blame it on something else.
Anyway, a couple guys have reported that the active exhaust chrome mod when used with the stock AE computer is backwards. This is because when I wrote the code, it was meant to trip the relay on in "sport mode" when used with an aftermarket exhaust dump.
The way the stock exhaust works is the relay is tripped when in tour mode (quiet mode) meaning when RPMs and TPS are BOTH less than the minimum values, the pin is energized. What this means for you guys with an aftermarket exhaust dump, you'll have to wire it so the dump is closed when the pin is energized instead of open while energized. Very simple but a little backwards from what you'd expect.
BTW no you do NOT need the Active Exhaust dash switch to operate the system BUT you have to remember to deactivate the dash switch test in the code.
I corrected this last night and sent the revised files to both Brett and Adam to host on their sites. You can also email me for the patch.
