I received my Plug n' Play ECU from Adam, and it seems to be in great order. The specific one I got is made for a 94-97 VR4. It comes with the 98/99 flash connector, and you are supposed to plug the pin into the pin 57 spot of the factory connector.

Well, after fighting with it and coming up at a loss, I eventually stumbled across a little 'lock' (for lack of a better term) on the bottom of the plug. It looks like this:

I found that you need to push that little locking door out, then you can push the pin in, and push the locking door back in to lock it all down again.

I just wanted to make a thread for those of you that may installing your Plug n' Play ECU. This should have been on the chromed ECU website, then i would not have wasted a lot of time fighting with that stupid plug.

I think this is shown in the video I posted in the stickied thread above.

If not, I dropped the ball. Sorry man. :(

If it is, ill pester Adam and brett to move it onto their sites.

the old side lock connector.
During testing I found the 91-95 all used the same style side lock plugs while the 96-97 has a rear lock connector that is much easier.
Ill post the info to the site. THanks!
