I have recently upgraded to IE10, super fast comes with a built in spell checker, which I need :lo5l: The problem is that I can no longer use the return key when I am making a post. Anyone else have this problem, I don't want to go back to IE9. Jeff

Last I heard, this was a known issue with vBulletin. For Alan, there's a thread on it here (requires login):
http://tracker.vbulletin.com/browse/VBIV-13267
As others mentioned, it'd probably be your best bet to get off IE. The features you're looking for can be found elsewhere. If IE is your only option, another work arounds that I know of is to enter compatibility mode (small icon between the magnifying glass and refresh icons). This should allow the enter key to function as it used to, for now.

Thanks for that Mate, I quite like IE10 and it was not a problem on IE9.
As you can see the compatibility mode works so I will just stick with that for now until the bug is fixed.

I did try Chrome a while ago & found it quite slow in comparison to IE9.
IE10 is a lot faster than IE9

one issue with ie10 I have seen is I can't post in touch mode. Everytime the on screen keyboard pulls up it will go away after a quick second. I suspect it has something to do with the chatbox. Also, the chatbox is in the wrong order. Newer posts go at the bottom and everytime the box refreshes it scrolls you to the top.
IE10 in general works well, but they sure put a lot of freaking bugs in it, even for asp.net. We are still working on fixes for our older websites. The generally feeling is well hey upgrade your websites. You can't do that when you are hosting hundreds of websites from 5+ years ago. Sorry, the customer doesn't want to pay for an upgrade and we can't front all that cost just because M$ decides to break javascript and asp.net so bad.

Nothing unusual for MS to beta test on the public:rolleyes3:
I never went into compatibility mode when I did this post & the return key is working, I have just done a windows update so maybe the bug I was suffering has gone.
On my UK, GTOOC forum the problem I have had is if I pull up all new posts as I read them and then back page it is still showing as unread until I do a screen refresh, this did not happen with IE9. I have not checked yet tonight hopefully this has been sorted as well

edit: I have always had to press refresh on this forum
