1997 Honda Prelude SH

Picked up this car as a beater for 1,600 dollars. has ricey exhaust, new hot rod black paint with red accents, that im painting back black, coilovers, short throw shifter and Cold air intake (SOOOOO FAST BRO) anyway, ill post progress on the car as it happens, will take more pics in the AM.

its probably gonna get some BBS LMs and lowered to a nice drivable setting. other than that redo the painted red interior with OEM and carbon fiber parts HID's and Drive the mofo. may boost later.

painted the grill over the weekend, and added a authentic mugen shifter today to get rid of the "kart boy" shifter it had lol. removed all the seats and shampoo'd them, and the carpet and snapped some quick pics with the cell phone.

I would have loved to pick one of those up for a beater. I couldnt even find the gen before that one less than $3,000. Looks decent minus the ricey red.

I got lucky. I bought this off of a guy who I helped rebuild this car for him. When I had my white prelude I had a parts car that I sold this guy the door off of and side skirts. I ended up turning wrenches for him for a while then got busy. The reason he sold it? He didn't know how to replace a crank sensor. He GAVE me a OEM crank sensor with the car, so I when ahead and did a timing belt job with it. I also replaced a wheel bearing. But after purchase of the car, wheel bearing and tax and transfer I have 1876.32 invested.
