Another VD Dyno thread. "stock" VR4

Decided to do another Virtual Dyno thread since asked about it.

Consistently flat road.

K@N Filter
Ebay 3" Downpipe (no cat)
Stock Active Exhaust
Stock otherwise
13/14 psi dropping off to 9 psi
I did do 3 pulls, but the 1st was the only good one i had, the 2nd one I rolled on the throttle and let off early so it was kinda low, and the 3rd was high because it was taken on a down hill section. (like 360whp lol)

Stock weight plus 175lb driver. stock tire size. 3rd gear pull, same log. SAE, Smoothing 6.

I would say 300whp is a solid guess.

About right, as I was 309 on a dynojet with full catback, front mount, and k&n.

^ I figured the fact that I am running higher boost then stock would mean I have a MBC lol.

if I get bored around the end of the summer I will probably throw a 255, SAFC, and some 450cc injectors at it.

MMCD-Droid.

Same thing I used on the SL.

Results were pretty accurate to the real dyno on the SL...within 3-1whp on multiple logs.

You should find a different stretch of road to do another pull on. Smoothing shouldn't need to go past 1 for an accurate map. If you have to smooth it out further you need to get a different stretch of road. Doing a VD graph going one direction and comparing it to going the opposite direction down the road is also a good method to see if you picked a good road. The graphs should be extremely close.

maybe. it was just a quicking thing. I knew I would be going down this road on my way home today. Its stuper low traffic, and very flat for about a full mile. was first time I went WOT or even close to it since I had got back in the car to go home. maybe that had something to do with it... it definetly feels better after 2nd and 3rd pull

That's a funny looking graph when the smoothing is on 1. Does your exported data reflect the curve?

I just edit the log in Excel to a single WOT pull and nothing else, and then load it onto VD.

how many parameters are you logging on MMCDroid? if more than just a few (VD only truly needs RPM and TPS) then the sample rate goes down and you can get some funky looking graphs. the higher the sample rate the smoother the graph ends up being.

The log I pulled from I log'd Knock, Timing, RPM, TPS, and attempted Duty cycle but that function of my logger seems to not be working properly.
